What to Expect
A clear process from preparation through completion.
Every project is different, but the experience should never feel uncertain. LUREON keeps you informed before work begins, throughout installation, and through final closeout.
01 — During Your Property Evaluation
A careful look, explained in plain language.
Your project begins with a no-cost property evaluation. We start with what you noticed, review the roof and relevant exterior areas that can be reached safely, and document visible conditions by area as we go.
During the Visit
- A conversation about your concerns, timing, and what you have already observed
- A review of safely accessible roof and relevant exterior areas
- Photographs organized by area when relevant conditions are found
- Honest answers to your questions while we are on site
The evaluation is a review, not a commitment. You will know what we observed before anyone talks about work. The Property Evaluations page covers the evaluation itself in full detail.
02 — After the Evaluation
Findings first. Decisions second.
After the visit, we review what was observed with you in plain language, including photographs where applicable. Some properties need no immediate work; others call for monitoring, repair, replacement planning, or storm-restoration planning.
Possible Paths
- No immediate work needed, with an honest explanation of why
- Monitoring specific conditions over time
- Maintenance or targeted repair
- Replacement planning with system and material guidance
- Storm-restoration planning, with the decision to file a claim left entirely to you
You choose how to proceed. Where insurance is involved, the decision to file a claim is yours, and your carrier determines coverage. LUREON documents visible conditions and explains options; we do not act as a public adjuster and never guarantee an outcome.
03 — Planning Your Project
A defined plan before any work is scheduled.
When you decide to move forward, we confirm the work in writing: the roofing system, material selections, shingle color, warranty information, and project-specific details. You receive a clear price and a realistic schedule before anything is ordered.
Planning Covers
- The work included, confirmed in writing
- Roofing system and component selections
- Shingle manufacturer, style, and color
- Payment requirements and schedule
- Target scheduling and how weather affects it
- Any property-specific concerns raised during the evaluation
Nothing is scheduled and no materials are ordered until the plan is clear to you. Questions are welcome at every point — that is what this stage is for.
04 — Before Installation
Prepared before installation begins.
Before your project is scheduled, we confirm the scope of work, roofing system, material selections, shingle color, and project-specific details. We also review scheduling, payment requirements, material delivery, and what you can do to prepare your property.
How to Prepare
- Keep the driveway and access areas clear
- Secure pets indoors or away from the work area
- Remove fragile items from walls and shelving
- Move vehicles away from the home
- Identify landscaping or property areas requiring special attention
- Expect materials or a dumpster to arrive before or near installation day
We will communicate timing and project details before work begins so you know what to expect.
05 — Installation Day
Your roofing system takes shape.
The crew begins by preparing and protecting the work areas surrounding your home. The existing roof is removed, the roof deck is reviewed, and any conditions requiring attention are documented before installation continues.
The Installation Process
- Crew arrival and project preparation
- Property and landscaping protection
- Removal of the existing roofing materials
- Roof-deck review
- Installation of the roofing system
- Progress photos and documentation
- Cleanup and magnetic nail sweep
- Final installation quality review
Many residential roofing projects can be completed in one day. Weather, project size, structural conditions, or unexpected decking repairs may affect the schedule. If anything changes, we will keep you informed.

06 — Final Walkthrough & Completion
A complete project includes a complete closeout.
After installation, LUREON reviews the completed work and project documentation. Completion photos, applicable warranty information, and closeout documents are organized so you have a clear record of your project.
Project Closeout
- Final quality review
- Completion photos
- Final walkthrough, when applicable
- Certificate of Completion and project documents
- Warranty information and registration, when applicable
- Final payment and project closeout
- Continued support after completion
